I. Definition Morphology Morpho logiy is the science that we study about the formation of worda, such as stem (root) becomes affixation, like suffix, prefix, confi, and infix. ( Seno Putra, 2006). Morphology refers to the mental system involved in word formation or to the branch of linguistic that deal with wprds, their iingful units of language. It’s internal structure, and how they performed (Mark Aronoff and Kirsten Fudemen). Morphology is the identification, analysis, and description of the structure of a given language’s and other linguistic units, such as root, words, affixes, parts of speech, intonation and stresses, or implied contex. Morphology is the study of the minimal meaningful units of languages. Its studies the structure of words. (Marcus Cracht, Departements of linguistic, UCLA).
